Three Bearded Tits
On Saturday we went for a walk along the river running between Southwold and Walberswick. As well as a very nice dressed crab for lunch (at least for those of us not allergic to shellfish!), we saw some unusual birds in the reeds. Although they did not pose for us to take decent photographs of them, we did get a good look at the three of them though the binoculars and were able to identify them as bearded tits. Not the most common birds to see, and very pretty.
